Pukekura Park Playground New Plymouth, 2009-2011

The playground precinct was the first of the Pukekura masterplan precincts to be developed, and Brown Ltd designed the playground to reflect a sculptural history of the New Plymouth Region.  A range of age groups were catered for, and the playground designed to integrate into the natural surroundings - using natural materials, sculpture and a mix of standard and bespoke play elements.  The existing contours of the site were worked into the design, which is currently awaiting funding approval.
